We had a thunderstorm come through Rock Hill yesterday evening. We lost power; when the crews came, we found that a tree limb had taken down a power line.
Boy, it was a sweaty evening. That's the 3rd day this week we had no A/C. The first, when we tried to turn it on for the first time this year, and discovered that the electrician had hooked up the heat, but not the A/C.
The second, when we found that that previous electrician had incorrectly installed some work, and nearly fried the house. Fortunately, the Internet cable went out, and the cable guys warned us. Most of the day, we were sweating hard.
Last night was the 3rd time.
I'm hoping that the 3rd time is the charm.
